Maureen FitzSimons' early achievements in performing arts (now called Maureen O'Hara), would be considered, at least in the eyes of America, into the child prodigy category. A child of Irish heritage, and surrounded as her by talented parents and family was naturally gifted, it came as a natural. Maureen moved into this loving house on August 17th, 20, in Ranelagh. Marguerita L. FitzSimons was a successful contralto. The father of her, Charles FitzSimons, managed an enterprise in Dublin and also owned part of the renowned Irish football team "The Shamrock Rovers." Maureen FitzSimons is the second child of Charles FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons, Florrie Fitzsimons Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons The rest of the family rounded out the wonderful family. Maureen was a natural athlete and enjoyed playing tough athletic games. Her ability to perform was the perfect match for her love of sport. She took home almost all Feis Award for Drama and Theatre Performance that her country had to offer. At the age of 14, the Abbey Theater accepted her and let her live her passion for classical theatre as well as singing opera.
