Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church, a Welsh musician, who was only 12 years old at the time she released her debut record "Voice of an Angel", rose to prominence. She's a talented performer who also appeared in films and hosted an on-air show. At a very young age she displayed an aptitude for singing and was performing with others in public at the age of three and half. It began when she was an hymn singer, and eventually sang "Pie Jesu" via the telephone for an upcoming TV show when she was 11. The show was followed by a performances on "The Big Big Talent Show" which brought her to the notice of the public. She had the chance to perform at the Royal Albert Hall and Cardiff Arms Park. Charlotte's musical talent was discovered through Jonathan Shalit, one of the most popular entertainment executives in Britain and who assisted her in signing a contract in 1999 with Sony Music and became her manager. She was the youngest musician to be a part of a chart-topping album when she released her debut"Voice of An Angel.' It was released in 1999. 1 album on the British charts of the classical crossover. She has seen her fame increase over the last few years. She has been invited to play for famous people including ex- US President Clinton, Prince Charles of Wales and Pope John Paul.
